Eldrive opens fourth Charging Hub in Lithuania

Eldrive has opened a new charging hub alongside the Vilnius–Klaipėda highway, at the 260th kilometer. The hub features eight 200 kW charging stations and two 400 kW ultra-fast stations, each equipped with two charging points. In total, up to 20 electric vehicles can charge simultaneously. For drivers’ convenience, a Caffeine café is also available on-site.

This is Eldrive’s fourth charging hub in Lithuania opened within a single year — the first was launched near Panevėžys, the second on the A1 highway near Raseiniai, and the third near Senoji Varėna.

Alongside the opening, Eldrive announced its cooperation with Porsche. The Raseiniai and Rietavas hubs will operate under the name Eldrive Porsche Charging Hub.These hubs are located at the 156th and 260th kilometers of the highway. It wa salso announced that Eldrive has joined the Porsche Charging Service partner network, offering Porsche drivers seamless payments and a special rate for fast-charging stations, available to Porsche Charging Service Plus members.

“Partnership with Porsche is extremely important to us because it is one of the most highly regarded automotive manufacturers in the world. Such cooperation clearly shows that Eldrive’s infrastructure has reached a level that allows us to work alongside the strongest players in the market. This is significant recognition and confirmation that the direction we have chosen is the right one — we are building a network that meets the expectations of both modern electric vehicle drivers and global brands,” says Eldrive Group CEO Stefan Spassov.

A representative of Porsche Lithuania emphasizes that this cooperation significantly strengthens charging options for EV owners during long-distance travel. The partnership was chosen strategically — the Vilnius–Klaipėda highway is one of the most frequently used routes by Porsche customers, especially during the summer season.

“Our goal is to offer EV drivers an exceptional charging experience: charging speed, the option to charge under a roof, comfortable rest areas, and seamless payments,” says Porsche Lithuania CEO Rasa Klimavičiūtė. “It is symbolic that at the same time as Eldrive launches its first 400 kW high-power charging points on the highway,Porsche is introducing the new Cayenne Electric in Lithuania. This model can accept such high charging power, enabling its battery to reach 80% in just 16minutes.”

The expansion of charging hubs is progressing rapidly as the EV market grows. Official data shows that over 42,000 electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids are now registered in Lithuania, with the number steadily increasing. This makes it even more important to ensure reliable high-power charging infrastructure along the country’s main roads, where a sufficient number of charging points is needed to avoid queues and ensure availability.

“Our network expansion is already delivering tangible results — we are building a high-quality and convenient charging ecosystem in Lithuania, which attracts global partners and opens new collaboration opportunities,” says Eldrive Lithuania CEO Tomas Tamašauskas. “During the summer, the Vilnius–Klaipėda highway is especially busy, and the Raseiniai hub has already proven its value to thousands of drivers. With the opening of the Rietavas hub, this route now has two high-power charging locations. Both are fully accessible to all EVs,helping make travel faster, simpler, and more predictable.”

Eldrive charging hubs are designed as modern roadside stops, each featuring a Caffeine café operated by Reitan Convenience Lithuania. Drivers can rest comfortably, enjoy coffee or a snack, and continue their journey refreshed. Some locations also offer additional services.

“This location, like the first three, was selected where rest breaks during a journey are most needed. We believe that for many customers — especially during the warmer months — stopping at this hub and enjoying high-quality Caffeine coffee will become a long-term tradition and habit,” says Reitan Convenience Lithuania CEO Saulius Žilėnas.

With more than 700charging points in Lithuania and over 3,000 across the Eldrive Group, the company continues to strengthen one of the largest charging networks in the region. The new hub on the highway and the partnership with Porsche mark another step toward creating a convenient, modern, and reliable charging corridor for those traveling across Lithuania. The rapidly expanding infrastructure shows that high-power charging is becoming the new standard on the country’s roads.
